ANOTHER WHISKY FOR MISTER BUKOWSKI

It was the fall of 2014 and still pretty hot in Los Angeles, California when they all met for the first time at music school. Making original songs was the main focus for a class called ‘Original Project’. Randomly, they chose each other to form a band without knowing if the final result would work out. But in one week they made "Can´t Stop” and decided to continue jamming!

Afro-Swedish, Spanish, Malaysian-American and Chilean are the nationalities of Feli and The LemonShakers.  They define themselves as Indie-Tropical. In other words, Indie-Pop + World Music + Soul. Or, if you prefer, a mixture between Vampire Weekend + Florence and the Machine + Lianne La Havas. Their music works perfectly for real crazy dancers as well as people who like to snap their fingers and clap their hands.

Their first EP – Naïve-, released summer 2016, was received very well by music blogs and radio stations alike (in the U.S., France, U.K. and Spain) as well as by those who saw them performing live at SoFar Sounds LA, Ivar Theater, Greek Theater, Make Music Pasadena Festival, Youbloom L.A. Festival, and else where!

Winners of Converse’s Rubber Tracks contest, they got to record new shaken-fruit at the amazing studio The Fortress in Downtown Los Angeles.  Currently, Feli and The LemonShakers continue to work on new and exciting music while revolutionizing the way music is experienced through their live performance.  Being from all over the world, the easiest way to find them is online via Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, Facebook, and Instagram.
